RHAM d. Law 3-0… well fought match. Law had a good size lead in game 3 but RHAM turned it on and the match ended with Kelsey Welling making a convincing block.
RHAM vs. East Catholic, class M semifinal November 14, 2009

Got to see this one (in my backyard)… 2 teams familiar with each other. I missed the first part of game 1. East Catholic seemed to have a strategy and worked it hard. When they executed it was effective but RHAM also seemed to defend the areas attacked well. Really gave EC little room for error.
Game 3 saw RHAM go up early, but East really battled back to make it close again. RHAM pulled away again to put the match away.
Well fought by both teams… good match to East Catholic, I believe this was their best season ever! RHAM off to the semifinals.

I’ve heard several reports of teams being down 4-6 players on their varsity teams. Glastonbury had no varsity setters available for a match this week and used their JV setters (a freshman and sophomore). They managed to pull out the match though.
What’s been going on around your school?
